Who are Hopland Scholars?

The Hopland Scholars Fund is a new initiative to support and expand scientific inquiry and discovery at HREC.  Like you, we value life-long learning and want to seize the opportunity to advance scientific literacy and development in our community.

Donations to Hopland Scholars will support access to educational programs including our signature events such as our youth summer camps and training for adults on a variety of topics from building a climate resilient community to living with wildlife. Hopland Scholars will also support scientific scholars in their quest to understand and interpret our natural world. Both discovery and outreach are necessary to form valuable and impactful programs, Hopland Scholars will help us elevate and expand our programming to meet the needs of the future.
