Join the UC Hopland Research and Extension Center to celebrate our stunning Northern California working landscape. Sheepdog trials, updates on fire recovery and a delicious farm to table luncheon with live music and auction will all be available.
Our celebration will begin with an optional field session, get involved with our work by witnessing the Hopland Sheepdog Trials and enjoying a short hike with HREC Interim Director, John Bailey, to learn about our latest research, education and our fire recovery after 3,500 acres of the site was burned during the River Fire. The field session will begin at the Sheepdog Trials area and conclude at the Rod Shippey Hall ready for a delicious lunch.
Following the field session we will gather at the Rod Shippey Hall to enjoy our own HREC lamb (vegetarian/vegan options available) catered by Beth Keiffer, alongside other farm to table produce. Live music a live auction and a chance to hear directly from our researchers will be offered during the meal. We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating with you.
Adults $70, Children under sixteen $15
Final registrations must be made by November 5th.
Your support at this time as our site recovers and is rejuvenated by fire is appreciated!
